All prints on this site are original photography works by Nick Clark.

As an Art Director from a print magazine background, this project is inspired by an appreciation for the tangible. Transcending the ephemeral nature of an Instagram post, these moments have been thoughtfully captured, curated and finessed to add stillness to your space.

To make this project a reality, I’ve partnered with Format Framing — a premium printing and framing service based in Melbourne, Australia. All purchases are made-to-order, with frames handcrafted with care from high quality materials.

Details

01 Printing

The photo is printed to a 310gsm 100% Cotton Rag stock using genuine Epson Ultra-chrome Pro inks on the latest Epson P20070 printer.

Giclée prints are the industry standard in galleries and museums across the world. They are archival quality and guaranteed not to fade or bleed for up to 100 years.

02 Mounting

The printed work will be dry mounted to an archival 5mm foam board using an acid free film. This process involves passing the artwork through a press and bonding it to a substrate ensuring that the print remains perfectly flat and ripple free for many years to come.

03 Framing

The frames are carefully hand assembled in a Melbourne workshop using the finest quality materials. A museum quality acrylic is used instead of glass to protect your print from damaging UV rays. It also has the added benefit of helping to keep weight down and prevent breakages. The frame is finished with hanging wire. Our framing partner, Format Framing, also provides framing services for the National Gallery of Victoria and the National Gallery of Australia — the same archival materials and techniques used there are used on every print in this store.

04 Delivery

The new work is carefully wrapped and packed. Using a network of couriers across Australia to ensure your amazing new piece gets to you safely in less than 2 weeks.

  • The estimated time from order to delivery is 1–2 weeks.

  • All care will be made to ensure your order arrives in pristine condition. However, if your order arrives damaged, please send me an email immediately with detailed photos to orders@nickclarkcreative.com.au and I’ll arrange a replacement.

  • The framed images on this store are mockups and while great care is taken to display them as accurately to real life as possible, they are to be used for representation only. The final product may differ slightly (very minor cropping, or a difference in how the device you are reading this on displays colour, for example). The mockups are based on the ‘Extra Large’ frame size.
